This week’s One Hit Wonder comes from 90’s ‘House’ outfit the Original. In a decade of fantastic dance music this song really stood out and is still a floor filler today. Yet the band behind it only managed one more Top 40 Hit before fading away. In fact, this song itself nearly didn’t make an impact, peaking at 31 and spending just 3 weeks on the chart. However, a re-release later in the year really did catch attention and the song made it’s way to No2 int he UK charts, sticking around for ten weeks.
Written and produced by Walter Taieb and Giuseppe Nuzzo, with vocals performed by Broadway singer Everett Bradley the song also made a splash in America, Iceland, Ireland and the Netherlands.
