Last week we heard about the the family who unwittingly had a million pound antique shoved in a drawer. This week’s story featured kind of the opposite experience of John Needham. He expected his machine gun that he paid £1000 for 20 years ago to be worth much, much more but was told it had no value at all! (You can read more about the story by clicking on the top left image or by clicking here)

But that got Steve thinking about your purchases that went wrong. Ever bought something intending to save money and it ended up costing you a fortune? Or did an apparent bargain end up leaving you out of pocket? Let us know your stories!

Tonight’s featured track comes from Dance artist/producer Daphni.

Daphni, (aka Dan Snaith) has previous released records under the names Manitoba and Caribou and hails from Canada. Whilst many people criticise Dance artists as not ‘real’ musicians that charge can’t be leveled at Daphni who normally performs with a live band, playing percussion.

This is the title track from his new Sizzling EP. As ever, let us know what you think! You can check out the video and listen again via YouTube below and also download it from iTunes and Amazon using the links below.

Track of the Week comes from the Canadian Dance artist Daphni after 7:15pm and we have story that is, kind of, the opposite to last week’s story where holding on to random stuff really paid off. This week, it’s valuable items that turned out to be not quite so valuable!

As ever, our Sports, Business and Entertainment News updates are at 6:45, 7:45 and 8:45pm respectively.

It all kicks off tonight from 6pm, repeated same time tomorrow and Thursday on Access!
