David and Jill are pioneer mission leaders in South Belfast, Northern Ireland. The husband and wife team have been commissioned by the Methodist church to pioneer a culturally relevant mission. Their base is a Methodist church that has plenty of history but without a congregation. The church building could easily have been sold as it is in prime real estate but why wasn’t it? What do pioneer mission leaders do? How do you work with locals that may not be a part of any church let alone a Methodist church? Considering that our guests are not from this island, how did they meet and then want to become pioneer mission leaders under the Methodist banner? It is a podcast not to be missed as it will encourage you as to what can be done in any community, maybe even yours. It was a privilege to follow them to a couple of locations for this special episode.
