As Steve mentioned on his show earlier, this week’s featured news item was the footballer from an amateur Irish club story who discovered from the newspapers that he was dead! All as result of an embarrassed official who was trying to get their match called off. So let us know your white lies and jokes that have gone wrong this week. You can do so via our Facebook and Twitter pages or emailing steve@accessradio.biz.

Back to dance music this week with a cut from Parisian DJ/Producer Boston Bun. He grew up on the music of  the Chemical Brothers and Basement Jaxx but originally wanted to be a film director. Whilst training for this he discovered music production. Things started to snowball when some of his hits got picked up by top clubs around the world and now he DJ’s in some of the world’s most successful events and venues.  Since thin things have gone from strength to strength.

This is his latest release, better together. Have a listen and let us know what you think! As ever, links to listen again to this via YouTube and download it from iTunes and Amazon are below.

The Weekend Evening Show is back, tonight from 6pm and Christmas is already here for the Word On Health. Paul Pennington looks at how we can plan ahead to ensure a “Stress-Free” Christmas. This week’s Track of the Week comes from Parisian DJ/Producer Boston Bun and Steve is looking at a ‘white lie’ that went very wrong this week in the world of amateur football.

Trace is around again from 9pm with all the usual features including the 432 Zone at 9:30 and 10:30pm. Finally, there’s a brand new Altern8 for December at 11pm. Peter Field brings you Punk and Hardcore with regular guest Christian Sullivan from The Metal Onslaught magazine.

It all kicks off tonight from 6pm, repeated Saturday to Monday on Access!

This week’s story that Steve featured on his show combines radio with some particularly British themes of eccentricity and sheds! It features a man who set up his own radio studios in his garden and having spent 44 years broadcasting to just one person (his wife) has finally been given his big break on a local station!

So, that got us thinking about the unique ambitions that you might have or even have achieved! Perhaps you’ve always wanted to perform in front of thousands or own your own island? Let us know via our Facebook and Twitter pages or emailing steve@accessradio.biz.

This weeks artist featured as Steve’s Track of the Week is well known to Access listeners having presented a regular slot on the station for a number of years. Not that that’s ever got him any undue influence (we’ve only ever played one Peter118 song outside our specialist programming and that was only played at Christmas due to it’s seasonal content) but when Steve heard this a few days ago it just had to be a track of the week.

As ever, have a listen and let us know what you think! No download links yet as the song isn’t out until the end of next week but listen again via YouTube and give us your feedback.

Another weekend, another Weekend Evening Show. It’s back, tonight from 6pm and includes Paul Pennington’s look at COPD in the Word On Health at 6:30pm. This week’s Track of the Week features our very own Peter118 and there’s a story of geeky shed-based frustration with a happy ending from 8:30pm.

If the colder weather beginning to kick in has got you down, Trace is looking at how we can view winter from a different perspective between 9 and 11pm tonight plus the 432 Zone is back at 9:30 and 10:30pm. Finally, there’s Punk and Hardcore from 11pm with Altern8.

It all kicks off tonight from 6pm, repeated Saturday to Monday on Access!

It’s dance with a difference tonight with another collaboration between UK based DJ/Producer Riton and the Nigerian vocalist Kah-Lo. They’ve teamed up on a number of tracks including Fake ID, Rinse and Repeat and Money but this one has an authentic African vibe that you just can’t help but like!

As ever, have a listen and let us know what you think! Links to listen again to this via YouTube and download it from iTunes and Amazon are below.
