Brendan had a very successful career in I.T. so why did he end up at a Benedictine Monastery on the Isle of Wight? A love of hiking and pilgrimage emerged and in 1994 Brendan and a friend begged their way across Northern Spain but why? In 2011, in memory of his brother Donal who had died by suicide, Brendan walked the Camino De Santiago and consequently wrote a book about this event. What is a Camino? Why did he write Redemption Road – Grieving On The Camino? What is Ignatian Spirituality? Why would he like his catchphrase to be ‘We’re all pilgrims in this life’? No wonder people think so highly of this man.
