Sara is based in Oklahoma and is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, trained to diagnose and treat mental health disorders for an individual or couple and family systems. Sara is based in a Christian counselling centre. In 2020 she had her first book published Tasting Dirt: When You’re Disappointed With God. I did not think we would be discussing the sexual abuse she suffered when 13 years of age by an adult woman and the subsequent aftermath of what Sara went through. Sara’s honesty and humility shine through. Where God was in her life, then and now? What does she think of forgiveness? What do some Christians expect of her today when they would like counselling for a family member? It was a privilege to have Sara as a guest.
