Well it’s been a while since we have posted a VOTW but things have just been SO busy in the run up to Christmas that we didn’t get time, even though this one has been in our back pocket for a little while!
Over the last few weeks we’ve had loads of music videos trying to solve the problem of how to record during lockdown, and quite a few that have taken themselves far too seriously too. This one caught our attention as it added a bit of humour.
It features one of the songs, Too Many Nights, that we put on the Access playlist earlier in the year from JC Stewart and 220 Kid and it kind of looks like the kind of ‘rough cut” footage that directors make just to ‘storyboard’ ideas for the final video. It’s the kind of thing that was never meant to see the light of day but, in this case, the producers decided just stick it out there.
Funnily enough, a new ‘Final’ version of the video surfaced a few days later which appeared to have some footage from this version so that may have been the case! Whether that’s true or not, it made us smile so we thought we’d share it with you as VOTW!
